Chartered Accountant (CA)

CA FOUNDATION COURSE

The CA Foundation Course is the entry-level examination for aspiring Chartered Accountants in India. It covers fundamental concepts in key areas such as:

  • Accounting
  • Business Laws
  • Mathematics
  • Economics

The course is designed to provide a strong foundation for future CA studies and can be completed in 6 months. It is open to students who have completed their 12th grade.

Registration Fee: ₹9000

The CA Foundation course consists of 4 papers, totaling 400 marks.

To pass the course, students must secure at least 200 marks overall, with a minimum of 40% in each paper. This course is the first step in your journey to becoming a Chartered Accountant, providing a strong foundation in finance and commerce.

Intermediate Course

The Intermediate Course is the second level of the CA program, providing in-depth knowledge of accounting, taxation, and finance. The course prepares students for advanced professional challenges.
Duration: 8-12 months
Eligibility: Students who have passed the CA Foundation or are eligible through the Direct Entry Scheme.
Registration Fee: ₹18,000 for both groups, ₹13,000 for one group.
Additional fees for IT Training and Orientation Course.

The course consists of 8 papers, divided into two groups:

  • Group I: Accounting, Corporate & Other Laws, Cost and Management Accounting, Taxation
  • Group II: Advanced Accounting, Auditing and Assurance, Enterprise Information Systems & Strategic Management, Financial Management & Economics for Finance

To pass, students need at least 40% in each paper and 50% overall in each group (200 marks per group). After completing the CA Intermediate, students can start their 3-year articleship before proceeding to the final level.

Final Course

The CA Final Course is the last stage of the CA journey, offering advanced expertise in financial reporting, strategic management, and taxation.
Duration: 6-12 months
Eligibility: Completion of both groups in Intermediate and practical training.
Registration Fee: ₹22,000

The course is divided into two groups, each consisting of four papers:

  • Group I: Financial Reporting, Strategic Financial Management, Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics, Corporate and Economic Laws
  • Group II: Strategic Cost Management and Performance Evaluation, Elective Paper, Direct Tax Laws and International Taxation, Indirect Tax Laws

To qualify, students must score a minimum of 40% in each paper and 50% overall. Completing this course is a major step toward becoming a Chartered Accountant, preparing candidates for high-level professional roles in accounting, finance, and taxation.
